Few Things About Me

Even though I mostly write my posts from my experience, I find that I reveal very little about my actual personality on this blog. To know more about myself continue reading…
Here are the ten things you don’t know about me so far.
1.        My name starts with ‘A’ and ends with ‘A’. It’s a 7 letter name. A_____A. (I know now you all try to complete it with all your wild guesses :p )
2.       I live in India and my state is Tamilnadu. I love to be addressed as a tamil girl. My city is surrounded by full of nature, mountains and greens. (lucky to be here).
3.       I like to watch cartoons. My all time favorite is Heidi (the alps girl). I like popeye, kid vs kat, chota bheem, tom & jerry, Scooby doo. (Still like a kid :D)
4.    Before I choose this IT field, I have an aim to be an archaeologist. To be my surprise, computers are not boring machines. Eventually I started loving them that I designed this blog on my own according to my taste :P
5.       I dint use to talk very much to people. I like to think more than talking. There are a lot of times in my life, I dint talk where it’s needed. Even in group discussion of my interview, I spoke only one sentence because after all it is group discussion everyone must get a chance to tell their views. Lol
6.      I love to hug my blanket and sleep, yeah you read it right. It’s my blanket (soooo softy). Usually girls love to hug a teddy bear or pillow and sleep. With a blanket it sounds odd for many.
7.       I am addicted to reading and learning. I like to learn about new things often. Reading ebooks and novels are my favorite time pass.
8.      I am short tempered. I only get anger reasonably and when things go wrong. It depends upon what I said and what they did.
9.      I like to do things perfect. I always start to work well planned and complete it on time. being punctual is what I like. It gets you tension-free and satisfaction.
10.   I find my happiness mostly in small things. Tiny things never failed to amuse me. Like even a donkey is cute when its small :D

I Miss You Forever

I love him a lot. Without him I feel incomplete. Honestly, I don’t believe in love at first sight. But when I saw him first, I couldn’t resist me from falling in love with him. He is so smart and impressive. At first, it’s very tough for me to understand him and his behavior. Few days later we became attached to each other, we were inseparable.
I like the way how he used to spend most of his time with me and shares everything with me. He taught me many things that no one can ever teach me. I was addicted to his charm. He needed me and I needed him too.
My eyes thrive to see him whenever he is out of my sight. My heart beat raises, whenever he nears me. He is so warm near me and cool when he is away from me. He is so interesting that I never get bored of him. I am very much possessive on him that I never allow others to get close to him. He was fully mine. He also knew that no one could take care of him like I do.
When I introduced him happily to my family, everyone in my home liked him except my dad. There was a reason behind it. My dad was afraid that he would do any harm to me. However I convinced my dad and made him realize how much he meant to me.
He loves me much that he was ready to give the whole world in my hands if I ask him. He senses my touch, understands my feelings and act accordingly to my mood. He knew well that I can’t be me without him even a single day.
But that awful day came. I never thought he would leave me like this without telling me. He left me heart broken. I let you all know his name

In Search Of Me

I spoke less and think more. Once I was fully loaded with negative thoughts and surrounded with people who are meant to less important in my life. There are too many issues on my head right now. At times I feel my brain will overflow due to too much thoughts. I sleep every night with the hope the next day would be brighter. Even I wake up every morning with the feeling that I am gonna make an another day happily. But end up tired of daily routine.
Something was wrong. This isn’t my life. I spent too much time thinking about what has happened really. Trying to translate what I feel. But words failed me. I wondered on whom I was so angry. Was it the sudden change of my friends behavior? Was it because my parents told me to do something that I don’t like? Was it because my little sister didn’t listen what I tried to share with her? Were these reasons big enough to justify what I was feeling?
Why dint I like to go out like others and have fun? Why did I spend all my days in thinking and waste it doing nothing? Why my life didn’t go in the right path like everyone’s? Is it because I depend on my parent’s much? I am clueless.
Is this what everyone call as depression? Somewhere along the lane, I miss the original me. I had stopped loving myself. I am that kind of person who needs support once in a while, someone to say “you did right”, when I lose and encourage me. I lost control of my life. I lost control of my feelings.
I am still in the process of finding the lost me. After too much thinking I concluded to love myself to help in finding the lost happiness in me. For that I need to do what I love more often. I have already started writing here and reminding every positive things in every actions I do. Until now I just found a piece of me :p

Happy Christmas Memories

Everyone has a favorite Christmas memory. I know that Christmas is not a celebration for other religion peoples. But personally I love to celebrate Christmas even I belong to a hindu family. I love Christmas season. I love saying “Merry Christmas”. I love to see the colors of red, green and silver during Christmas.
I believe in santa claus. I really, sincerely, I do. I love the idea of a magical person who cares about what you want…a person who motivates you to be “good” and give you gifts.
I still remember the day when my dad bought a fluffy santa claus toy to home and rejoiced like a real santa came to our home. Every year we like to see the persons who dressed themselves like santa and sing jingles all the way out in the streets and distribute chocolates for everyone they see in the streets.
Apart from santa, reindeer, gifts, Christmas tree, I love the foods of Christmas season, especially Christmas cakes. Cakes are meant for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries. But for me Christmas cakes are even more special, I sense a different rich taste and flavor from them. I don’t know what make them special, may be they are blessed directly by the lord jesus on that day. Once me and my sister baked a tooti fruity cake at home for celebrating Christmas.
Going to church did not make me less of a hindu and neither does saying “merry Christmas” make me less. My faith has not been shaken just because I wished my friends and celebrated Christmas in our own style. It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. Now its time to wish,
May joy and happiness snow on you,
May the bells jingles for you and,
May santa be extra good to you,
“Merry Christmas”
Wish your Christmas be filled with peace and love.

My Favorite Books - Little House Series

This is a small review about one of my favorite book series that I ever like to read again and again. My mom is a great story-teller. I love to hear my mom talk about her parents, her grand parents and her siblings. That’s why I love family stories. Perhaps little house is one of the reasons I have always love stories.
Little house series books were written by Laura Ingalls Wilder in 1930s. The little house series books are based on old memories of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s childhood in the Midwest region of the United States during the late 19th century.
Little house on the prairie is third book in the series. The story, very briefly is about Laura, a pioneer girl and her family as they travel by covered wagon into new territory. Once they arrive, they try to make their new home. They build house, barn, dig well, meet neighbors and explore fields etc. However, their time in Kansas isn’t without troubles as the family is plagued by wolves, native Indians, wild fire and diseases.
I was so sad when I came to the last word in the last book. The little house series covers, little house in the big woods (1932), farmer boy (1933), little house on the prairie (1935), on the banks of plum creek (1937), by the shores of silver lake (1939), the long winter (1940), little town on the prairie (1941), these happy golden years (1943), the first four years (1971).
After reading the series, I wanted to live in one room with my whole family and have a corncob doll as my own. I wanted to do chores like carry water, churn butter, play along the prairie. I say I want to do all these things though that may not have been what I truly desired. For a while I had a close imaginary friendship with Laura when reading these books. Everything in these books are narrated like a scene by scene picturisation of a movie as clear and sharp so that anyone can visualize it in their mind while reading.
I simply loved the little house books because of the charm of the language, characters and stories. I believe that the little house books contain both practical and spiritual lessons that help us thoughtfully achieve both things. These books are for readers of all ages, points a bright way down good path.

Chocolate Boy

He is a cute little neighbor kid who is almost in the end of 2 years. He is very chubby, adorable and attracts all with his sweet smile. Everyone likes to cuddle him when he runs here and there in the street. No wonder I am not left out in the list. I like to see him playing with the other kids usually older than his age. Like others, I also wish to take him to my house and pamper him for a while. But he is the little daring of the street who never go into any neighbor’s house.
Three days back, my little sister and I were looking out from the sit out of my house. The neighboring kids were playing with loud noise in the street. Among the bunch of kids, the little duggu was spotted. My sister called him, “hey cutie come, come, come here” but he refused to come and said, “Maaah, maaah” with his rosy lips. Then my sister told him, “come here, I will give you chocolates, come baby”. As the old trick seemed to work, he slowly walked towards our house. Haaaa…here we caught him. My sister took him in her arms and offered him a chocolate. He got it with a smile and asked her to unwrap the cover. After getting the chocolate he ran out and turned back to say, “baaaye, baaayiiii” and went to his home.
Next day at evening, we heard a sweet voice at our doorstep, we saw little duggu standing there saying chocooo chocoo in his baby language. He came for chocolates and got it. It becomes a routine for him to come for chocolates. He spends time with us playing and he is our chocolate boy ever.
Now I know why chocolates are sweet and always be in the places of happier moments. They always bring joy and sweetness in life. Like chocolates, babies are sweet that’s why kids are attracted by chocolates always.

Happy 1st Birthday My Blog

I am so happy and very much excited today. You know what? My sweetie cutie blog is turning out one year old today. It’s been like a magical moment when I started my blog a year before on the same day. Time is running so fast and this little blog of mine crossed a year successfully with 64 posts. This past year has been a huge learning experience as well.
When I started this blog, I have no idea about what to post and write in it. But now I am surprised to look back the posts I posted past one year in this blog. I really feel good to read my old posts. I have shared many happy moments and sad moments of my life too in my blog. It’s the only precious possession owned by me.
I am proud to tell that my blog is my best friend where can I pour all my heart felt feelings without any regrets. My blog is the outlet of my soul to the world. I hope it will be with me throughout my life.
I am thankful to god, to my family, to my friends and to my beloved unknown readers of my blog throughout the world for reading, commenting and for helping me to keep my dreams alive. I don’t think I would have made it this long without all your love and support.
And now for my blog,
Happy happy birthday to my baby blog “Dream World” I wish you would grow old with more posts in the upcoming years too. I love you my little blog!!!

Important Lesson Of Life

I seriously don’t get to know what’s going on with the people around me. When I try to be away from them, they come closer to me and make me feel that they are the best of all buddies I have. So when I conclude they are different and be there for them when they need me, they slowly move away from me. I am fed up of the people who remember me only when they need a help. I know that everything will come to an end one day, but I never thought it will happen very soon. One day they are good, the other day they just flip. If they don’t really want me to be with them, then why they make me feel I am so much important to them? It hurts a lot to see even a small change in the people’s behavior whom I used to know very longer. They have no time for me rather they have their own special category friends list where I do not stand. I try my best not to hurt them in the same way they did to me. So I forget how they moved away from me for days and months and be still for them when they come back again to me while they feel alone without any. I really want my heart to be okay and not to care when they exclude me. But it’s very hard for my heart to understand the reality as my mind do. Step by step I am learning to move on with my life with hope and decided not to dependent on anyone and don’t let anyone to come into my life completely until they are proved to deserve my friendship.

An Unknown Friend

Few days back, I felt someone following me virtually. I was alone online thinking about something. Actually I day dream much. As usual I was continuing it. Checked my contact list where all the friends in my list are offline. Suddenly an unknown id popped up and called my name. I started thinking whether I know that person with this unfamiliar nick before? My mind said, “No, I don’t know” I hurried to check the details of that person in Id, but nothing was written.
I couldn’t able to find even the gender of that person from the id as the nick was very common. With an alarming thought( after doing lots of researches), I asked,  “do I know you?”  I got an reply, “No, you don’t know me, but I know you”. It made me curious to know who’s that person and I repeatedly asked “Who are you? How do you know me?” but nothing I get to know from that person.
I became tired of shooting questions further and stopped. After few mins, “I have something to tell you” said that id. Those words pinched my mind again and I said “Ok proceed”. Started with “Don’t believe everyone here you meet online is true to you, Each and everyone here just show off as they care you. Don’t share your personal things to anyone. You should be careful and take care of yourself. I know you faced many difficulties and at present you are sad and lonely. Don’t be sad, you should be happy always. Now promise me that you will be happy always whatever the situation may be”
I was so confused, mean while that person asked, “What’s your DOB?” without any other thinking I replied “Its oct 13”. After replied I thought why I said my birthdate to an unknown person. That person continued, “Ok, I will wish you on all your birthday here even you are present or not. You will get my here.”
With many questions in mind, I came back to my previous questions, “Who are you? How do you know me?” now with an extra added question, “Why do you care me?”  Then there was a silence prevailed. The person sent a reply, “I can’t come here to take care of you often, I will be back another day bye” and went offline immediately.
I was left confused with random questions.

The Stories Of Diwali

Hi Friends, I wish you all happy and prosperous diwali. I would like to share what is diwali and why it is celebrated.

Diwali
Diwali is “Festival of lights” celebrated at the new moon night to indicate the victory of good over evil. Peoples decorate their homes with earthernware lamps called “diyas” where diwali means “Row of lamps”. They wear new clothes, meet friends and relatives, exchange sweets and gifts, decorate homes with rangoli, lamps and set off fireworks.

The five days of diwali
First day
The first day of diwali is “Dhanteras”. It is celebrated two days before diwali. This is an auspicious day that celebrated on the thirteenth day of the dark fortnight. Dhan -  Wealth and Teras – thirteen. Basically people celebrate this to welcome the goddess “Lakshmi” who is the lord of wealth and lamp lights throughout the night to seek prosperity. The lord “Yama” , god of death is worshipped on this day to gain health and long life.
Story behind dhanteras
The son of king hima was predicted to die on the fourth night after his marriage due to snake bite. On that particular day, his wife placed all her ornaments, lots of gold and silver coins in a heap at the entrance and lits more lamps all over the place so that there is no darkness in any place. She narrated stories and sang songs to keep her husband from falling asleep.
The lord “Yama” arrived at the prince’s place as serpent to bite him, but his eyes were dazzled and blinded by the glitters of ornaments and the lights of lamp. So he could not enter into the prince’s place. So yama climbed on the heap of gold coins and sat there listening to the stories and songs sung by prince’s wife whole night. As the night was over yama went away silently and the prince was saved by the intelligence of his wife. To remind this event on the day of dhanteras people lit lamps on night and buy gold or silver.
Second day
The second day of diwali is “Naraka chaturdasi”. On this day, lord Krishna killed the demon narakasura and rescued 16000 princess who were captured by narakasura. The day of victory of good over evil is celebrated as “Choti diwali”.
Third day
This is the day of actual diwali. Lakshmi pooja, the worship of lord lakshmi to acquire wealth is conducted on this day. This is also the day of lord Rama, sita and lakshman return to ayodhya after 14 years from forest, having successfully rescued sita from demon ravan and defeated him.
On this day king Bali was defeated by lord Vishnu in his dwarf incarnation and banished him to hell. On this day Bali was allowed to come to earth once in a year to light millions of lamps to eliminate darkness and spread wisdom.
Fourth day
This is the day after diwali and called “Annakuta” or “Govardhan pooja”. This is used to hold a festival to honor lord “Indra”, the demigod responsible for providing rain for successful harvest.
Fifth day
This day is referred as “Yama dvitya” and also known as “Bhai dhooj”. This day is dedicated to sisters. Lord Yama, god of death visited his sister Yamuna on this day and gave a boon to her that whoever visits her on this day shall be liberated from sins and attain moksha. On this day sisters pray for their brother’s welfare and success. This day marks the end of diwali celebration.
Hope You all now know the stories of diwali and celebrate it safely with family and friends:)
