I Am A Doll

Just like others
I was born & tested,
Dressed & decorated
For a fresh start
To the journey of my life,
Chosen by many,
But left as an option,
I was longing to go,
On a fine moment,
I was handed to my possessor,
My life turned on,
 I was happy,
When pampered & hugged
Cherished moments on roll
Happy days follow,
With time I fade,
Lost beauty & charm
I failed to admire my possessor,
Time to time,
I faced kick offs
And some throw away,
I cried & screamed
In much pain & agony
I left to be alone & ignored,
I prayed & questioned god,
Why am I suffering?
God replied,
The answer is within you,
Me? I looked at my reflection
Then I realized
I am a doll
Without feelings,
With some parts missing!

Those Sleepless Nights

As the frozen sky melts in the silence,
I count the stars in the vaulted height,
Immersed utterly within the dark so intense,
Born the misty, distant night,
Far as my longing eyes can see,
I felt the shivering chillness in my veins,
Moon light hovers above the sleeping sea,
Softly through the desolate plains,
The winter wind plays the song of melancholy,
With the rhythm of thy voice,
Petals of wild lilies uncovered gently,
Facing up to offer thy joice,
Solemn darkness soothes my soul,
Buried the face in a pillow I snug,
Body bundled cozy under the blanket roll,
Since trite, faintly my eyelids hug.

Fake A Smile

Lined up by sequence of thoughts,
I fell down into the well of past,
Wondering where it went wrong,
What made us fall apart,
I see you walk away from me,
A last glance of our sights hit each other,
I left behind with a pierced heart,
For the first time with no words to say,
I am crushed by the heaviness in my heart,
For every step you take increased my infinite pain,
I reluctantly watched your silhouette,
Disappear in the distance gradually,
I know in this way better you will,
Drag the drama of playing with my emotions to an end,
If destiny bring us to meet again,
I desire nothing from you sternly,
Except a thing to do so effortless for you,
To look at my eyes and fake a smile atleast.
