Ingredients
Fish – 4 fillets
Turmeric powder – ½ tspn
Gingelly oil – 2 tbspn
Dry Red chilly – 8 nos
Small onions – 5 nos
Cumin seeds – 1 tbspn
Tamarind extract(thick) – ½ cup
Water – ½ cup
Salt to taste
Method
♥ Clean and wash the fish well and
drain water completely.
♥ Soak the dry red chilies in water for few mins.
♥ Grind small onions, soaked red chilies and cumin seeds into
coarse paste.
♥ Take tamarind extract and turmeric powder in a vessel.
♥ Then mix the grinded paste in it and boil it.
♥ Add salt, ½ cup water and fish fillets into it.
♥ while boiling, add 2 tbspn gingelly oil.
♥ Reduce the flame and cook for 5 mins till the oil separates.
♥ Now tasty fish gravy is ready. Serve it with rice.
